Byron Eck Named 2025 MVP at Southeastern Equipment

July 25, 2025, Cambridge, OH—Southeastern Equipment is proud to announce that Byron Eck, a Field Service Technician based out of our Monroe branch, has been named Southeastern’s 2025 MVP. Byron was nominated by coworkers across multiple branches for his consistent willingness to help, deep technical knowledge, and commitment to putting customers and teammates first.

From stepping up during major equipment failures to serving as a go-to resource for techs, parts, and sales teams alike, Byron’s dedication reflects the very best of Southeastern’s values: Thoughtful, customer-focused, helpful, and passion.

As one teammate put it, “Byron is essential to the Monroe branch and always has a pretty positive attitude.” Another shared, “He’s dedicated to his position, stays on top of the task at hand, and helps others when asked.”

Many nominators called out Byron’s technical expertise and his role as a mentor and problem-solver across the company. “He consistently goes above and beyond with his unlimited expertise,” one wrote. “He’s a great mentor for not only techs but the parts and sales teams, and he delivers exceptional service that keeps our customers up and running.”

That dedication was especially clear when Byron supported a major repair on a BOMAG roller at the Mansfield branch. “Byron’s technical help with the catastrophic failure on the BOMAG roller we had in Mansfield enabled us to save thousands of dollars on unnecessary labor,” a teammate recalled. “I had multiple phone calls with him, and he was always extremely helpful.”

Byron’s leadership has also played a critical role in broader company initiatives. “Byron has taken the lead in the BOMAG pump issues and continues to go above and beyond to help get the correct information to all branches involved. He is exhibiting not only Hustle, but Passion, Helpful, and Customer First as well.”
