The Case Construction 580EV is the industry's first commercially available fully electric backhoe loader, delivering the same breakout forces and dimensional digging specifications as the diesel-powered 580SN without any on-site emissions. Powered by a 400-volt, 71 kWh lithium-ion battery that charges via a standard Level 2 J1772 adapter, the 580EV provides up to 8 hours of runtime per charge. Two independent electric motors separately drive the drivetrain and hydraulic systems, enabling simultaneous loader and travel operation with instant torque. The operator station features an 8-inch color touchscreen, energy-efficient HVAC, and push-button start with security codes, making it ideal for urban utilities, municipalities, and noise-sensitive or zero-emission jobsites.
