The Bomag BM 500/15-2 is a compact cold planer built for precise asphalt removal on motorway repairs, urban road restoration, and selective layer milling. A Deutz TCD4.1 diesel engine rated at 140.8 gross HP (Stage V / Tier 4 Final) drives a 19.7 in milling drum capable of cutting up to 8.3 in deep, while a quick-change drum system accommodates standard, fine, and power drum options. The fully vibration-insulated seated operator platform, 7 in full-graphic leveling display, and a conveyor that swivels 30 degrees in both directions combine to deliver high productivity with low operator fatigue.
