The Bomag BW 191 ADO-5 is an articulated heavy tandem roller combining front-drum vibratory compaction with BOMAG's TanGO rear-drum oscillation technology, which applies tangential force rather than vertical impact to keep the drum continuously on the mat — ideal for compacting over bridges, thin overlays, and sensitive base layers. The Deutz TCD 4.1 L04 engine delivers 141 hp (SAE J1995) and the 78-inch drum width covers standard lane widths efficiently. Individually switchable vibration and oscillation modes give operators precise control across varying lift thicknesses and job-site conditions.
