Bomag BW124 PDH-5

The Bomag BW 124 PDH-5 is a single-drum padfoot vibratory roller designed for compacting strongly cohesive soils with high moisture content, including clay-rich backfill, trench work, pipeline construction, and landscape grading. Sharing the same rugged platform as the BW 124 DH-5, the PDH-5 features a 47.2 in (1,200 mm) padfoot drum that achieves deep kneading compaction at a 0.63 in amplitude, delivering superior results in difficult material conditions. A 46 HP Tier 4 Final Kubota V2403 engine paired with a dual hydrostatic pump drive allows the machine to scale grades up to 55%. Standard ECOMODE reduces fuel burn by up to 30%, and the optional ECONOMIZER system guides operators with real-time compaction progress indicators to minimize overcompaction. The four-post ROPS/FOPS structure and ground-level access to all service points keep operators safe and downtime short on congested job sites.
