The Bomag BW177 D-5 is a single-drum vibratory soil compactor in the 6.5-ton class designed for medium-scale earthworks and civil engineering foundation projects. Its Kubota V3307 CR-T Tier 4 Final engine delivers 74.3 gross hp, driving a 66.5-inch smooth drum across non-cohesive and hydraulically bonded materials. Standard ECOMODE technology cuts fuel use by up to 30%, and the optional ECONOMIZER system identifies fully compacted zones to eliminate unnecessary passes. The articulated frame with maintenance-free joint and hydrostatic steering make it well-suited for road construction and site development applications.
