The Bomag BW177 PDH-5 is a padfoot single-drum vibratory compactor combining a dual-pump hydrostatic travel drive with a segmented padfoot drum for superior performance on strongly cohesive, high-moisture soils. The Kubota V3307 CR-T Tier 4 Final engine produces 74.3 gross hp and drives a 66-inch padfoot drum, making this 7-ton machine effective for compacting clay-rich subgrades and embankment fills. ECOMODE smart engine control reduces fuel consumption by up to 30%, and optional ECONOMIZER and TERRAMETER technologies help operators achieve target density in fewer passes.
