Case Construction CX12D
The Case Construction CX12D is the smallest mini excavator in the CASE D Series lineup, purpose-built for work in confined and hard-to-access environments. Weighing just 2,932 pounds and powered by an 11.8-horsepower Kubota D722 diesel engine, it features retractable rubber tracks (33 to 51 inches wide), a foldable dozer blade, and zero tailswing for unrestricted rotation through gates and around structures. Two standard auxiliary hydraulic circuits with optional quick couplers provide excellent attachment versatility, from buckets to compact hydraulic breakers. Servo-assisted joysticks, two-speed travel with automatic shift down, and an intuitive ISO/SAE pattern selector make the CX12D easy to operate, while straightforward service access keeps operating costs low - an ideal entry-level machine for landscapers, utility crews, and small contractors.
