The Case CX490D is a 49-ton large crawler excavator powered by a Tier 4 Final Isuzu six-cylinder turbocharged diesel producing 362 horsepower. Operating at 109,300 pounds with a maximum digging depth of 25 feet 4 inches and over 60,700 pounds of bucket breakout force, the CX490D combines an intelligent hydraulic system with three operator-selectable power modes to maximize productivity in heavy earthmoving, deep excavation, material loading, and infrastructure construction applications where sustained high-cycle output is essential.
