The Case CX80C midi excavator combines the compact footprint of a smaller machine with the digging muscle you expect from a much larger class. Driven by a Tier 4 Final Isuzu four-cylinder turbocharged diesel rated at 55 gross hp, it reaches a maximum dig depth of 13 ft 9 in and a ground-level reach of nearly 23 feet, making it well suited for utility trenching, site preparation, and foundation work where space is at a premium. At 18,800 lb it remains easy to transport between jobs without special permitting in most states.
