The Case CX85E is a purpose-built midi excavator that brings heavyweight muscle to tight quarters. Powered by a 72-horsepower Yanmar 4TNV98CT Tier 4 Final engine, the CX85E features a fixed boom with zero tailswing, allowing operators to work confidently up against walls, fences, and structures without repositioning. At 19,467 lb, it delivers impressive breakout force of 14,163 lb-ft for aggressive digging, trenching, lifting, and land clearing. Operators benefit from one of the most spacious cabs in its class, with automatic climate control, a heated air-suspension seat, a 7-inch LCD touchscreen, and ergonomic joystick controls that reduce fatigue on long production days. Ground-level service access and a standard 2-year/3,000-hour warranty complete the package.
