Superior Broom DT74J
The Superior Broom DT74J is a mid-mount, side-cast street sweeper designed for high-productivity municipal and contractor sweeping operations. It runs on a John Deere 4045TFC03 Tier 4 Final diesel producing 74 hp and sweeps a full 96-inch path with an 8-foot polyurethane quick-change tube brush driven at 200 rpm. A load-compensated piston hydraulic system at 28 gpm and 2,500 psi powers the brush and water system, while a rear leaf spring suspension, quiet cab design, and touchpad control panel reduce operator fatigue on long routes. The 170-gallon water system keeps dust suppression continuous.
