Alamo Industrial EXTEN-A-KUT II

The Alamo Industrial EXTEN-A-KUT II is a three-point-hitch-mounted offset rotary mower built for cutting grass, weeds, and brush up to 1 inch in diameter along roadsides, ditch banks, pond edges, and creek embankments. A hydraulically powered 60-inch rotary cutting head delivers a 59-3/4-inch mowing swath and extends up to 12 feet 6 inches from the tractor centerline, reaching terrain inaccessible to conventional rear mowers. The cutting head articulates from 85 degrees up through 70 degrees down, making it effective on steep slopes and irregular terrain. A 60-gallon hydraulic reservoir and gear-type hydraulic pump rated at 2,500 PSI and 39 GPM (at 540 PTO) power the system, while 10-gauge steel deck construction and front and rear double chain guards provide durability and operator safety. Minimum tractor requirement is 45 PTO HP with adequate front-end counterweight; 60 HP is recommended for optimal performance.
