KM International KM 2-18X

The KM International KM 2-18X is a mid-size portable infrared asphalt recycler suited for repairing cold seams, roller marks, and small-to-mid-size surface defects on new or existing pavement. Two independently controlled 3.5-by-3.5-foot heating zones provide 23 square feet of ceramic refractory blanket coverage at 300,000 BTU, heating the asphalt uniformly for reworking and recompaction. Mounted on four independent swivel casters for easy one-person positioning, the unit operates from a 12V deep-cycle marine battery with automatic timed heat cycling. Overall dimensions are 7 feet long by 59.5 inches wide, keeping the footprint manageable on active paving jobs.
