Alamo Industrial Machete 3
The Alamo Industrial Machete 3 is a tractor-mounted undermount side-boom mower offering reach options of 18, 22, and 25 feet for roadside and right-of-way vegetation management from the safety of the cab. Its distinguishing feature is a closed-loop piston pump and motor hydraulic system — the only one of its kind in the industry — which runs cooler and delivers more power than conventional gear-type systems. The Machete 3 accepts a wide range of interchangeable cutting heads including Severe Duty Rotary (50- or 60-inch), Flail-Axe, BuzzBar, and Ditcher, and can tackle material up to 5 inches in diameter. A minimum 90 engine HP tractor with cab is required.
