Bomag RS 500

The Bomag RS 500 is a high-capacity stabilizer and recycler powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 460 LA engine delivering 503 horsepower under Tier 3 / Stage IIIa compliance, built for demanding cold recycling and soil improvement applications. Its 88.6-inch (2,250 mm) rotor works to a maximum depth of 500 mm (19.7 inches) and can slide laterally up to 12 inches for precise edge work. Proprietary FLEXMIX technology enables infinitely variable material crushing and mixing in forward and reverse travel. Standard ROPS/FOPS cab, hydraulic rotor-inclination adjustment, and all-wheel drive make it well-suited for large road rehabilitation and subgrade stabilization contracts.
