The Kobelco SK140SRD-7 is a purpose-built vehicle demolition excavator engineered specifically for automotive dismantling operations, capable of processing up to 70 cars per day. Powered by an Isuzu 4JJ1XDRAC-01 3-liter diesel producing 96 horsepower, the 45,000-lb machine features the KHE750PR-2 front attachment delivering 57,330 lbf of shearing force. Unlike standard excavators adapted with aftermarket kits, the SK140SRD-7 is designed from the ground up for vehicle recycling and scrap yards, combining tight tail swing with purpose-matched hydraulic output for high-throughput car processing.
