Midland SPR-6

The Midland SPR-6 is a single-sided self-propelled road widener built to spread asphalt, aggregate, or other materials along the right shoulder or edge of a roadway without a transport permit. A 62-horsepower diesel engine drives front-wheel propulsion, and an 18-inch chain drive conveyor transfers material to modular strike-off blades that regulate spread width from 1 to 6 feet. The machine travels within legal transport width, eliminating permit requirements for night or weekend hauls. With a production capacity of 300 tons per hour, the SPR-6 suits highway shoulder rehabilitation, road widening, and base course placement.
