Its four-cylinder Kubota V2607-CR-E4 engine produces 49.5 gross horsepower while the minimal rear overhang keeps the counterweight within the track width during rotation, reducing the risk of damage in confined areas. With an 11-foot 10-inch dig depth and a transport width of just over 6 feet 5 inches, the U55-4 fits through standard gates and fence openings while still handling demanding excavation tasks.
