The Case Construction WX175E SR is a short-radius wheeled excavator designed for urban roadwork and confined job sites where a conventional long-tailswing machine simply cannot operate. Its Cummins B4.5 engine delivers 170 gross horsepower and a four-wheel hydrostatic drivetrain pushes travel speeds up to 22 mph for fast repositioning between sites. The compact tailswing design preserves maximum digging force and reach while keeping the machine out of traffic lanes and adjacent structures, making it a strong fit for utility work, pipeline projects, and municipal road maintenance.
