The Gradall XL 3100 V is a highway-speed wheeled excavator powered by a Volvo TAD583VE Stage 5, 5.1-liter engine and rated at 235 HP, capable of over-the-road travel at 60 mph in 4x2 or optional 4x4 drive configurations. Its full-tilting, telescoping boom reaches a maximum digging depth of 18 feet 4 inches, with a 27-foot 3-inch radius at groundline and a maximum lift capacity of 7,870 lb.
