The Gradall XL 5100 IV is Gradall's highest-capacity highway-speed wheeled excavator in the XL series, combining over-the-road mobility with an impressive 24-foot 5-inch maximum digging depth. Built on a 6x4 or 6x6 carrier for maximum stability, it features Gradall's signature full-tilting, telescoping boom that tilts 220 degrees and delivers 24,500 lb of rated boom force — enabling efficient mass excavation, canal and storm drain cleanout, demolition, and dredging. With no need for outriggers and a transport width of just 8 feet 6 inches, the XL 5100 IV moves quickly between jobsites and operates safely in lane-closure situations.
