The Gradall XL 5130 V TrackStar is a heavy-duty highway-speed railway maintenance excavator designed for Class 1, short-line, and commuter rail operations. Driven by a Volvo TAD884VE Stage 5, 7.7L engine producing 335 gross horsepower, this 6x4 or 6x6 carrier travels at up to 59.5 mph and reaches a maximum digging depth of 24 feet 5 inches with a rated lift capacity of 13,213 pounds. The extended telescoping boom and 220-degree tilt provide the range and versatility required for tie replacement, ballast work, and under-bridge excavation.
