The Bomag BM 2200/75 is a large-class rear-loading cold planer built for high-volume milling on freeways, major roads, and airport runways. Powered by a 771-gross-hp MTU 10V 1600 engine, it mills a 86.6-inch-wide pass at depths up to 13.8 inches with excellent precision. The maintenance-free BMS 15 tool holder system extends bit service life by 30 percent, while the quick-release drum exchange system reduces changeover time. An isolated operator platform with ergonomic controls and exceptional forward visibility supports productive shifts on demanding large-scale pavement rehabilitation projects.
