The KM International KM8000TEDD is a 4-ton trailer-mounted asphalt hotbox reclaimer engineered for contractors who need maximum versatility on the road. The TEDD designation stands for Extended Deck Diesel: a forward-mounted extended deck accommodates a KM 2-18X infrared asphalt heater, while a 12-VDC electric hoist and davit system loads and unloads it safely. The 105,000-BTU diesel burner keeps 8,000 pounds of hotmix asphalt at workable temperature for up to 72 hours. Triple-wall construction with 2-3 inches of high-efficiency insulation, a 16-gauge skin, and a 12-gauge asphalt compartment lock in heat. A hydraulic scissor dump hoist rated at 16,000 lb capacity, dual 7,000-lb axles with electric brakes, solvent tank, tool rack, and rear-mounted propane torch with hose reel round out a purpose-built unit for sawcut, skin-patch, and utility-cut repairs.
